This was my first time to return here post COVID. I arrived on Mother's Day for a late lunch without a reservation, but, we were both seated almost immediately at a nice table near the bar. Rain was imminent, therefore, we moved our table under the tent as you can see from my pics. My favorite tables are along the railing overlooking the river. The service personnel are quite pleasant. They even added some sand along the river with some tables to create a more beachy feel. I have been here several times for brunch and once for dinner. If you arrive before 2pm on a Sunday we were able to get one of the tables for two along the railing overlooking the river as was the case today so check my pics. The only problem with this place is that food preparation service including cocktail service is a bit slow. I am not sure why since they have both indoor and outdoor bars and the restaurant is rarely crowded when I was there including today for a Sunday brunch.
I guess supply and demand applies here. The service personnel are quite pleasant so this is not a personnel problem, but, a back end or management problem. I will return and hopefully they get their service act together sooner than latter.

When you enter the back of the restaurant on a beautiful sunny day and view the Hudson and the bridge, you feel you're in the right place.
That was not the case. We sat at the bar to get shade and it took a while to get the bartender's attention. From there, it went bad real fast. My wife asked for iced black coffee and she received creamed iced coffee.
When the bartender took our order, I could tell he was not paying attention and I felt the order was going to be wrong. The restaurant was not even busy at that time. My wife asked for a vegan burger, no bun, no fries, with salad dressing on the side. She received the burger with the bun, fries, and dressing in the salad. The second attempt brought no bun, no fries, but dressing still on the salad. By this time, I finished my lunch and watched to find out if they were ever going to get my wife's order right. What struck me were two managers nearby, not being aware of what was going on.
I locked eyes with one of them, but she didn't come over to speak with us. There were signs all over the restaurant for "help wanted - all positions available. Getting bad reviews, wasting time, effort, food, and money by not getting the orders right, and no tips causing staff to move on is bad business. You need to fix this. The food is absolutely amazing as well as the views! However before the greeter was at the bottom of the deck and several waiters and staff members passed by us all failed to tell us where exactly the greeter was.
Having made eye contact with one of the waiters several times I decided to approach him and ask Where exactly I should check in. PersonallyI do not like going into a business and not being greeted or even acknowledged. This was my one and only issue.
